It’s 1987 and a new generation of Star Trek fans will begin to dream of what it would be like aboard the USS Enterprise-D as it travels through space seeking out new alien life. And we were among the millions in that new generation.
From the main bridge to the holodeck to engineering to sickbay to the shuttle bay, we were hooked. But one location always drew us in because we couldn’t stop imagining what it would be like to beam down planetside. The main transporter room on the Enterprise D fascinates us these 38 years later.
This shirt is a tribute to that love. Featuring a simplified design reminiscent of the main transporters with two crew members beaming out and a color scheme inspired by young Wesley Crusher’s sweater, “Energize” is now available on t-shirts.
